Our Core Values

Faith

We will leave a legacy of faith. We will continually pursue a mission that requires big faith. To this end, our words and actions will  promote these faith-oriented goals.

Prayer

We are a people of prayer. We are strategic because we are obedient; therefore we accomplish more by doing less.

Worship & Service

Our worship songs are the inspiration and the expression of a lifestyle dedicated to serving God by serving others. Our service to God is our greatest form of worship and is at the center of everything we do as believers. We are contributors not consumers.

Global Vision & Local Impact

We believe that global change starts in small communities. We will impact world systems and global markets by empowering individuals within local communities. We reach the world one person at a time.

Integrity

We believe that the favor of God is directly connected to our obedience, character, honesty, and transparency. We strive to maintain Christian ethics that reflect the culture of the Kingdom of God and the personality of our Creator as described in the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23.

Inheritance

We invest in the next generation. We create and pass on generational blessings spiritually, financially, and educationally.

Potential

We believe that every individual has been given all they need to fulfill their purpose in the form of unrealized potential. We maximize potential by activating a person’s individual gifts and abilities through our Kingdom-based empowerment strategies. We celebrate each person’s significance.

Purpose

We understand that our purpose is directly connected to the problems that we have been called to solve. Problems are divine opportunities to prosper. We refuse to complain when confronted with problems. Instead, we create solutions and celebrate the promotion that will inevitably result.

Capacity

We believe in capacity building, because when ordinary people are empowered to maximize their potential, they produce extraordinary results. Giving increases our capacity to be and do more. In order to grow and expand we give extravagantly-we give of our time, talent, and treasure. Every human being has the ability to contribute to the health and prosperity of their community by engaging in a capacity-building process.

Diversity

We are committed to the creation of supportive and safe environments that welcome a diversity of ideas, beliefs, and cultures. With this in mind, we understand the power of “team work” and “corporate responsibility” in fulfilling the unique vision and mandate we’ve been given.

Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the infallible Word of God, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the verbal inspired word of God to all people. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is eternal without any mixture of error that gives us a context of the history of our faith and continues to be relevant for our daily lives.

Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 3:16

TRINITY

God exists eternally as one substance in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 1:35; John 5:21-23; 14:10, 16; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:8-10;James 2:19

THE FATHER

God is our Father: He is all-powerful, all knowing, omnipresent, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. He is a loving, compassionate, and faithful Father to His people and fulfills all of His promises.

Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26; 14:1; Acts 17:28; Romans 3:3-4

THE SON

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only begotten Son of God. He is the only plan for redemption of mankind. Through his death and resurrection we are now brought back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life performing miracles and fulfilling Old Testament Prophesy revealing that he is our Messiah. He defeated death and in His resurrection we can eternal life.

Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 14:33; 16:16; 28:56; Luke 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1, 14; 10:30; 11:25-27; 17:1-5; Acts 1:9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Gal 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15; 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 3:16

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. All believers receive the Holy Spirit at conversion however as subsequent Baptism of the Holy Spirit is necessary for effective ministry and the operation of His gifts within the “Body of Christ. Speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with gifts for us to be a witness and to fulfill God’s original purpose for man.

ETERNITY/SALVATION

Man was created to exist forever. Man will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in Union with the Father is Heaven. Both are places of eternal existence. Because, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. As believers, justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. Sanctification directly follows our new birth in Christ, through faith in the blood of Jesus, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. All who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost through the immersion in water. This is an outward sign of the cleansing that has taken place through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme focus of His creation. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love. Man exists in 3 parts; namely the Human Spirit, Soul, and Physical Body. It is God’s desire for man to be spiritually mature, to walk and live in divine health and to prosper materially.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD/HEAVEN

The Kingdom of God is a literal spiritual dimension. It is God’s sovereign rule over all of his creation. The Kingdom of Heaven is God’s rule, through man in the earth realm. God established his Kingdom in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve when giving them the “Dominion Mandate”. Jesus came to the earth, manifesting the Kingdom again and established the church as the catalyst for his rule again in the earth. Jesus Christ shall again return to earth to complete the work of the Kingdom that is being continued through the church. The message of the Kingdom is a message focusing on spiritual empowerment that gives meaning, hope, dignity, and purpose to all humanity.

Matthew 3:2; Matthew 6:10; Matthew 18:3; Matthew 16:19

THE CHURCH

The Church is a God idea. It is not a religious institution; instead, it is the educational system of the Kingdom of Heaven. The church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to the world by fulfilling the Great Commission.
